"On 3 June 2026, the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) issued a call for an innovation partnership to develop an unmanned, unpowered logistics glider (PRL). The glider will be air-launched from an A400M, fly autonomously, and deliver a payload of up to 700 kg over 70 km. Unit cost is capped at €50,000. The total budget is €9 million across four phases, with an initial production run of 90 units."
