• National delegations provide support and representation in lower committees.
• The North Atlantic Council convenes at ministerial and summit levels as well.

"Each NATO member country is represented on the North Atlantic Council by a Permanent Representative, its top diplomat at NATO Headquarters. These senior diplomats are supported by national delegations of advisers and officials who also represent their countries on subordinate committees. The Council also meets at the level of Heads of State and Government, Ministers of Foreign Affairs or Ministers of Defence."
