"Airbus signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kawasaki Heavy Industries on June 26, 2026, to study an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) version of the U950 EuroDrone for Japan's Self-Defense Forces. Airbus claims the 10-ton MALE drone, with 26m wingspan and longer endurance than the MQ-9B SeaGuardian, can carry sonobuoys and torpedoes. The cooperation includes possible local production and maintenance."
