"Version 1.7 of the Let's Encrypt Subscriber Agreement, dated June 4, 2026, prohibits the use of SSL/TLS certificates in comprehensively US-sanctioned territories. Subscribers must warrant they are not located in such areas, not a prohibited party, and comply with US export controls. Violations may lead to certificate revocation."
