"On 3 June, Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced a comprehensive agreement with Ukraine to expand the rights of the Hungarian minority in Zakarpattia Oblast (60,000–70,000 people). The agreement broadens linguistic, educational, and cultural rights. In return, Hungary signaled readiness to open the first negotiation cluster of Ukraine’s EU accession talks, breaking a two-year deadlock.
