"The UK Ministry of Defence has signed a €1.15 billion contract for 72 RCH 155 self-propelled howitzers from KNDS Deutschland under the Mobile Fires Platform program. The order replaces aging AS90 systems. Previously, the British Army had taken delivery of 14 Archer wheeled howitzers as an interim measure."
