"Germany's Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has announced that certification according to the new IT-Grundschutz++ standard will be possible from January 1, 2027. Training for already certified consultants and audit team leaders begins November 1, 2026. The popular WiBA checklists for basic security will be retained. The methodological guide remains incomplete. The exact audit basis for companies subject to the NIS-2 directive remains unclear."
