"The EU Commission is drafting a new mandate that would allow Frontex to deport people between non-EU countries, backed by international agreements. Deputy director-general Olivier Onidi confirmed the plan on Thursday. Last year, Frontex contracted €163m in return operations to Poland-based eTravel SA. The proposal is expected by the end of September."
